Foods in you diet that causes wind in BFing babies

Quick question: My 4 week old son who is being BF by me, with the odd bottle of EBM every couple of days, seems to go through some nights exceedingly restless, grunting and bringing his knees up with wind.

Is there any truth to foods in your diet affecting breastmilk at all to result in a windy baby?

If so, are there any particular foods that you think have affected your milk?

Ta!

thai/indian food for me - no more hot (or even medium) curries til DS gives up feeding... or I have to deal with nappies from hell.

mind you my DS had the same problem at the same age regardless of what I ate (not every night and no apparent pattern). Have you tried the tummy rub - clockwise around his tum? it sometimes helped shift trapped wind.
