Took my baby for first CO appt today as she had stiff neck after the birth. She is 4wks old.

She has been crying all afternoon since we got back. Has anyone else experienced this? My osteopath said some fall asleep and some are cranky. Guess Im unlucky

please tell me your experience!

Sorry, mine was cranky during sessions but mostly slept afterwards.

I think it is normal for them to be cranky for a little while after - how long has it been?

we left at 1.45pm. she slept on the way home after crying thro the session. Been crying since 3pm. Think she is getting exhausted as she keeps dropping off on my shoulder.... but then waking herself up crying...

My DD varies - I have taken her a few times cos she's fractious and once she fell asleep immediately afterwards and then was cranky when she woke up. She's never been noticably sleepy really though, the only thing I noticed was a huge dirty nappy after the first session, she hadn't really been pooing properly so that was good! It is so difficult to tell how good it is but if it might help it's worth a try, I kinda think she may be a bit achey afterwards like you would be after a good massage when they've unknotted bits iykwim?!

I'm afraid that ds was fine - just a bit sleepy afterwards. When he was older we even managed a session with him asleep in my arms.... Sorry that its not more encouraging - but it did solve awful colic for ds

After a cranky afternoon yesterday, DD woke up with head facing the other way, for the first time ever. She has been ok today. Hopefully the CO is helping!

Like mistlethrush DS slept for hours after each session and was fine. It was fab for his colic and wind problems and sorted out his weepy eye and all sorts.... glad to hear that your DD is doing better...
