Just when I thought I'd got it right, famous last words!!!!
My lo is 7m next week and we've slowly introduced his meals and he is now on 3 small meals a day, problem being, his bedtime bottle has dropped to 5oz (from 9oz) and his dream feed has increased from 2-3oz to 5oz!! I was pleased with the 2-3oz for his df as it used to be 6oz and has slowly decreased!!
He has his tea at 4pm so it's not like it's right before bed.
He also woke last night at 4am for a feed and drank 4oz!!
Any suggestions???

Be patient....he will get back on track. It is normal to expect some changes in routine in the first year in regard to eating and sleeping patterns as baby goes through a tremendous amount of growth and development.

Has he been trying anything new lately...being more active? Sometimes that will cause more waking at night. Any possibility of teething? Another possible reason for change in routine. Maybe he has just had some off nights and it won't last long.

You could give him his bedtime bottle slightly earlier and if he doesn't drink much, offer him a little bit more about a half hour later to top him off right before bedtime.

If he wakes at night, be sure he is fully awake before going in. He may just be making noise and will settle himself back down. Maybe offer him just water in the middle of the night. Keep night waking matter of fact....very quiet, a quick feed if need be, a cuddle and back to bed. You could try not picking him up and seeing if he will settle with just some patting and soothing music for a short time.

If he is adamant about being up for a regular feed, go ahead and top him off and back to bed with as little involvement as possible.

He will likely get back to a nice routine for you before too long....just be aware that it could change again once in awhile!
