Are raw vegetables making my 4 week old BF baby windy?

I have a very farty 4 week old DS, very different from my DD who as a baby rarely burped or farted. My postnatal doula thinks my diet is too healthy and that its the raw vegetables I eat most lunch times that is causing the wind. A friend who lives in Belgium says that over there BFing mothers are told to only eat cooked veg. Although cooked asparagus definitely gave our son the farts!

Personally I think its my let down that is very fast, he gags a bit, takes in air and that could be the reason for the windiness.

Something about pregnancy that puts me off cooked vegetables and this time this has continued after the baby was born. Should I switch my diet to one of crisps, white bread and cake then.

I think there's a happy medium to be found between raw veg and crisps and cake It's worth cutting the veg out for a few days if you think it could be the culprit. I know when my ds was tiny it was onions that made him very windy, and after a few days of cuttign them out there was an obvious improvement.
