23 week old - slow weight gain after initially lots - reassurance?

My EBF 23 week old gained loads of weight in the first 10 weeks or so - got to just above the 50th centile from a birth line of 9th centile. Weight gain dramatically tailed off since then. Never lost weight though, weight at nearly 10 weeks was 5.75kg (12lb 10oz) weight now is about 7kg (15lb 6oz) which is the same as a couple of weeks ago. So a bit over 3oz a week on average. As far as I can see he is showing no desperate signs of weaning and he feeds roughly every 3 hours day and night - impossible to get more feeds into him as he just gets very annoyed with me if I offer too early. Should I just get a grip and not worry - he is a happy chap despite his frequent night wakings.

Seems to be no issue at all with his weight, though....not sure why you are concerned, seriously He's healthy, happy, feeding normally, gaining weight, and if you are worried about where his weight is on the chart, you can plot it here:

It's entirely appropriate to use these WHO charts with a bf baby of your ds's age.

What does clinic say to you?

Thanks - this is what i hoped you would say - i try not to go to the clinic - weeks ago some loony health visitor started to question me about his weight gain so given it is just the same i dont bother speaking to them just weigh and run. she was also terrified by the fact i swaddle him and said i needed to get him sleeping on his own - i was brave enough to tell her i was happy to swaddle and cuddle to sleep but not that he spends the night sleeping on me.
