Did weaning your toddler make you a bit sad and broody?

My 15 and a half month baby boy had his last feed on Monday. He really was self-weaned and doesn't seem to mind having stopped. In truth I'd expected to continue for longer but anyway...

I was planning maybe a 3 year age gap between my son and a sibling but I'm wondering whether giving up the breast feeding is going to make me reconsider. I feel quite sad when I think about it all being over. Has anyone else experienced that? Do you think it's a common trigger for planning number 2?

My 2.3 yr old baby is still bf and he still seems like a baby to me!

He will be my last but I know it will make me a bit broody when he weans!

My baby boy is now 26 months and he stopped bf at 18months. Yes, it still makes me broody maybe also it's a spring thing ? I love the thought of having a lovely bump again but the reality 9 months later is a whole other ball game! Having said all that there is 23 months between my DS and it's great now they are 4 & 2 they really amuse each other.
