Any experience of the Avent spout for milk feeding 6 mth+? (good/bad/etc?)

I am thinking of using this spout to help with a particular problem - described in more detail here on the weaning thread. Basically I am trying to wean my 6.5 month old DD from breast to bottle, but she is refusing to take a bottle so I am looking for any solution that might get us through this.

Has anyone tried this white Avent spout for bottle feeding formula or EBM? It looks a bit like a Tommee Tippee first cup (which DD is becoming quite good with for water drinks) but apparently is a bit flexible. It slots into the Avent bottles. Any experience good / bad / other?

I have had this problem with all 3 of mine. Ds loved this spout, and still has the next stage one at bed time.

both my dds hated it. DD1 preferred the easyflo beaker, although the lid can come off if thrown too violently in disgust.

dd2 also likes that one, but prefers her milk in this tomee tippee one which has a silicone spout.

my friend had this proble with her youngest and he preferred the basic tesco bottle to cup trainer spout.

Thanks ready4anothercoffee. It is reassuring to know I am not alone in this! Thank you so much for your really helpful suggestions for product options. I will definitely be looking into these.
