I feed my 13mo 3 times in every 24 hours, and I exercise quite intensively 5/6 times a week.

I probably eat about 2400 calories a day and I am permenently starving, but I still have weight to lose.

What to do? Do I just eat and accept that I'll have to lose it later? I feel crap being hungry all the time.

I don't think you need that many calories for breastfeeding a child that age, even for younger one you would need a small extra. I'm just wondering if the exercising could be responsible for big appetite and weight problem. My brother couldn't put on weight and by exercising he increased his appetite and managed to fill up. Just a thought. If you want to fill full without the calories, you'd have to eat lots of fruit and veg as snacks.

It depends what those 2400 calories consist of - you want slow releasing carbs like brown rice, brown bread, jacket potatoes, porridge - to fill you up.

Drink full fat milk. Est little and often - six snack meals per day rather than 3 larger ones if you can.

i never lost much weight either time until i stopped bf, even restricting calories, it's clearly a hormone thing for me. but with a little attention to diet and exercise after stopping it's dropped off.
