Hi, thread title says it all really. Fed up of this thrush lark. Am on daktarin, acidopholus, GFSE, garlic etc. Want to try and limit the above food groups to help things on a bit.

Any inspiration for nice food that doesn't limit me to tuna jacket pots?!!?

Corn cakes or rice cakes , avocado, big mixed salad, cheese, hard boied eggs, crisps, peanuts, peanut butter... Re the garlic.. I had recurrent thrush and the ONLY thing that fixed it was taking a clove og garlic (crushed) four times a day for a week.. I stank and LO pooh stank but it cured it once and for all. Good luck

If it's vaginal thrush, you can wrap a piece of garlic(a clove)in a piece of muslin and pop it up your chuff(you can get info on the net for this), change it a couple of times a day I think, also wash your bits in a vinegar/water mix or dab/wash in it using cotton wool...cold is soooooo soothing.

You do smell of garlic, but it does work.

I'm doing this no sugar lark and it's horrendous. This is my day:
breakfast: shredded wheats with live yoghurt (pretty much every cereal has sugar and I'm trying to minimise dairy too) and a cup of tea with milk (can't live without tea, or could live but life would be meaningless )

lunch: homemade hoummus (whizz tin of chickpeas (that have been in water wih no added sugar!), 2 cloves garlic, chilli flakes, olive oil, cumin seeds and lemon juice)on oatcakes, chopped carrot and a chopped red pepper, as well as an avocado and 4 prunes (my one sweet thing!)

dinner: some boriing dull pasta thing or curry but with no added sugar and wholewheat pasta or brown rice.

Lots of cups of warm water and lemon slice, grapefruitseed extract tabs, garlic tabs, acidophilus tabs and was on fluconazole but it's finished. I still have thrush (third lot of fluconazole) though.

May resort to that garlic eating thing Devendra...
HTH but to be honest it's a very unimaginative diet... I'm not even eating fruit apart from the prunes, just vegetables!

Oh goodness - sounds a bit grim..... LO has had it in mouth and I have breast thrush. Looks like salad is gonna be on the menu and maybe some roast veg (with GARLIC!!!)

Have bought some soda bread today as it is yeast free which I love!! Maybe get some cottage cheese for it too....

mmm, hungry now!
