dd is 11 months and currently feeds when she wakes up (1 side) 10am ish (other side) and bedtime (both sides). I plan to cut out the 10am feed with a view to gradually giving up bf in the next 3 months. So given that she can't be persuaded to have both sides when she wakes up, I'm worried the other breast is going to be really uncomfortable if it's only fed from once in every 24 hours.
Also should I alternate the breast that gets 2 feeds a day in order to maintain supply or should I stick to left breast am and both breasts pm for example??

When I cut down to just 2 feeds, also at 11 months, my milk supply pretty much dried up, which in my case was good because I was pregnant and wanting to stop completely soon anyway. However if you're hoping to carry on breastfeeding a bit longer I doubt 2 feeds will be enough to keep up your milk supply, not positive though! I only fed from one side each feed, and didn't get uncomfortable, but this could have been due to my decreased milk supply. Not sure that's of any help but hope you find a solution that works.

thanks. The world won't end if I lose my supply but ideally I would like to continue feeding her til she's 12-14 months old. Tomorrow is D-day, I plan for this morning's 10 am feed to be the last one.
