Do your boobs end up smaller after feeding?

I'm bigger, but then I'm fatter. Also a little saggier, but I got pregnant in 2000 so time has taken its hideous toll on all of me. I also have a saggier bottom, and I don't think I can blame that on breastfeeding

i started as a 34e before PG got up to a 38g during PG. I have a comedy photo from when my milk came in and my breast is almost twice the size of DD head!!!! Whilst B/F wore a 36G or FF depending on shop!! B/F for 11 months now 6 months later am wearing a 34F ahhhh!!!! was promised smaller boobs!!

32F before getting pregnant, 34G whilst feeding, 32E now ds is 6 months old, alhtough still feeding. Exactly the same with dd, so yes, smaller and happier

Did have family members laughing at me when my milk came in with ds and my boob was sooo much bigger than his head! They thought he'd get lost in there!!

36dd b4 ds......38e breastfeeding.....now 34c and I am really happy as long as I dont take my bra off as they would hit my knees!!!!!

ok I was edgarcat, mine have reduced now alost a year later.

down a cup size and weight loss has reduced back size.

third baby though, no such luck with ds1 and 2

I was 36C before children, 38DD while feeding baby 1, 36C after feeding baby 1 (but definitely saggier), back to 38DD when feeding baby 2, then 38D after feeding baby 2. Baby 2 is nearly 2 years old and still 38D (but they are decidedly further south than they used to be!). So mine got bigger!!!

A friend of mine put it well...

One of mine shrank. Just the one. The more prolific one. Used to have very nice bosoms, once upon a time

Mine totally lost their firmness. Are now very squdgy and squashy, and droopy.

Eventually both times returned to their pre-pregnancy 34DD.

Now pregnant again and a huge 36E already

Mine didn't at all. 32DD/E (dependant on manufacturer) before pregnancy. 34F feeding, and back to 32E now. Very little change to be honest, I fed for 10 weeks.

Mine were lovely 36c before preg and breastfeeding and then turned into squished 38b. Got back to normal-ish but am now pregnant again and they now weigh around a stone each (need crane) and don't even mention how large my nips and arolas (?? sp??) have become.

Mine started small and pert and are now small and non pert. With odd ducty looking nipples.

By the way XAusted - very few companies do decent AA size bras. M&S do semi-decent ones sometimes with a smidge of cotton, and I just snip out the underwiring (like I need it, huh). DH bought me an Agent Provocateur set (bless 'im) and I had to take it back and try and find something that didn't look toooooo big, but might also look remotely sexy. But still haven't got the heart to wear it.

Nice to know other people's have got smaller. Mine started tiny - 36A - and although I stopped breastfeeding after only 10 weeks I swear they're smaller still They didn't get any bigger during pregancy either, despite every single book I read telling me they would.

I definitely agree about chicken fillets. Jelly-filled bras are fab

yes mine withered away to nothing. That's why I haven't given up with ds2 yet (he still gets a bedtime feed- he's over 2 now) can't bear the thought of nothing again!

Got definately bigger. Started off as perfect (for me) 34C, am now 36E!!!!!

DS took mine from 38C to 38DD - which I loved, and I was delighted that they stayed that size - and dd has taken them on to 38E/F, which I feel is getting a little excessive.

I had whoppers to start with before DS (now 10) was 8.5 stone 5ft 5 and had 34DD boobs, with birth adn stuff they went out of bra sizing entirely, like footballs, afterwards they eventually subsided over time to a 36D -
With DD now 16 mths *(just finished b/f her last month) have gone from 36D to 36 FF and G at worst... no sign of reduction and have infact gone to a 38 for bigger cups..
Hate them, when babies are done with feeding, I'm getting a reduction

Jimjams, you have 'no' bosoms because you are a waif, in the manner of Audrey Hepburn and Kate Moss. Try putting on four stone - you'd have bosoms then, I tell you! My bosoms are bigger and saggier for the exact same reason my bum is bigger and saggier, and I didn't breastfeed out of my bum

MI - you still have a very impressive frontage.

LOL MI but you are also amazingly slender for someone with such a young baby. Can you tell I'm jealous

My boobs are the same size they were before breastfeeding 4 babes. It takes at least 2 years for the fat to be deposited back in them. Breasts change due to pregnancy itself never mind breastfeeding. Mine are also still pretty perky. No complaints from DH
