Do I need to transition to a trainer bottle (with handles)?

If so, when? Or can we just stick with the same bottles (without the handles) until ds is 12 months?

I woudl stick with same ones as long as he can hold onto them. We have a mix of handles and non (bought for PFB DD1) and DD2 just grabs whatever is handy.
Do you have Avent bottles? You can buy different teats/spouts for them to make them a trainer cup without changin the whole bottle.
