What will happen to my milk if I don't eat?

Have had a horrible sickness bug and just can't face food at the mo. Haven't eaten properly since saturday. Am bf dd3 (9 months). She has three feeds a day now, and dropped then night feeds a month ago, but last night she seemed really hungry, and I just seem to have very little milk. I have been feeding her more often today to increase the supply. She feeds for a minute or two then pulls away looking cross, and there isn't any milk visible.

I'm sure my appetite will return soon. Dd2 had this bug last week and is over it now. But in the meantime should I force feed myself [sick emoticon], or trust my body to produce what dd3 needs? Thanks all.

Don;t worry. Sometimes D&V seems to cause a very temporary lull in supply. Will not harm your baby and the milk will come back, prob before you feel better.
