After all the threads on here about increasing rates, just wanted to say a huge thank you to MNers, as I gave up BFing my first son at 8 weeks (he was in SCBU for 3 weeks and I had to express, then we just couldn't make it work due to fussy latch and lack of confidence).

We've just had DS2 (he's now almost 3 days old) and BF is going fantastically, largely due to increased confidence on my part, which you all made happen. We did lots of skin to skin and cuddles in hospital and DS2 is already a very contented baby. I actually am relaxed and enjoying BFing which I never thought I could and even if it doesn't work out, I'm so happy to get even this far!

So a huge thank you from me and DS2
