Even tho this is 3rd time round, I really can't remember when I stopped the dream feed???? DS is 7 months old but only just started weaning (not through lack of trying!!) He takes about 1-2 icecubes of solids and 4 7oz bottles.

Thinking about dropping that to 3 bottles (8oz hopefully as he'll be feeding less often) and stopping his late nihgt feed, hopefully meaning he'll be hungrier for more solids. He is not a hungry baby atall, infact he's never cried really for food ever!!

How old were yours when they dropped that last feed?

TIA

Hi. My dd is nearly 7m now and has just recently stopped the 11pm ish feed. On a good night she will sleep through till 6, but then she is eating more solid foods than your ds.DD has breakfast, lunch and tea aswell as 4/5 6oz bottles.

How about increasing food amounts.? Might be worth a try.

I would offer a bottle tonight if I was you, like you say you will regret it later!

I would say about now is the right time, but up the solids if you can.

What time are his other bottles, could you stop one of those for a bit first?

DS is 14mnths and has always been a hungry baby, but gave up the 11pm bottle at about 7mnths.

i would offer half the amount in a bottle and see what happens

so reason why you have to offer all or nothing

if he sleeps through on half a bottle just offer a few ozs tomorrow and if he still sleeps through them stop it all together
