or am I the only one wearing the ugliest bras in the world? My boobs hardly change size during the day now so am wondering if I can go back to underwired finally??

I still wear them at 10 months but I wear underwired ones.

Only found them at 5 months. They changed my life.

Will find a link

SparklyGothKat · 12/02/2009 21:03

I am still wearing feeding bras at 16 months. Its easier, but I did buy some lovely ones in the sales

madmouse · 12/02/2009 21:03

errrrm I weaned my ds at 11 months and now he is 12 months I am still wearing my nursing bra. Waiting for boobs to stop shrinking before splashing out. Must say they are Royce and quite nice despite their huge size

nigglewiggle · 12/02/2009 21:04

Yes, but it tends to be morning and night feeds only, so have returned to NICE bras again. If she wants a feed during the day, and I don't feel the need to be too discrete, I find I can still manage with an underwired bra.

Feel proud, if a little saggy

thisisyesterday · 12/02/2009 21:04

ditto SGK. mine are the only ones that still fit me now, and am expecting another baby, so no point buying nerw normal ones iyswim?

and i do find it easier than getting boob out of normal bra. but maybe I am just lazy lol

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 12/02/2009 21:04

My ds is 8 months old and I'm still wearing nursing bras. I've not got anything else in the right size and as I know they'll change size once I finish feeding him I'm not splashing out on new bras that I won't need for too long!

blowninonabreeze · 12/02/2009 21:05

here

A little pricey but I suppose it depends how much longer you want to feed for and how often your LO feeds.

I have a snacker who likes regular access (joy) so can see me needing them for a while yet

comparethePeachydotcom · 12/02/2009 21:05

10 mionths old in fact

horrid aren't they? I did have a few pretty ones but I don't think the designers make them for longevity, they started vreaking; must buy a few more

blownin, where n earth did you find them?

whomovedmychocolate · 12/02/2009 21:06

I'm still breastfeeding a 2.4 year old AND a six month old and wearing nursing bras. You can buy nice ones but they cost! I don't think I want to go back to underwires now I've discovered my boobs can be held up by decently upholstered over-shoulder-boulder-holders!

littlelamb · 12/02/2009 21:06

Funnily enough, I had been wearing underwired nursing bras which were £££ but I have now got a couple of good 'normal' ones and my god it feels good to be back to normal! My ds has just turned 8 months and is still feeding quite a bit in the day but I have noticed that they don't really change size and I don't need to wear breast pads anymore so I think my supply has got into a good pattern. I just hoik one side down. It will make such a difference to how you look as well- clothes have a much nicer shape over a proper bra rather than a granny one

ChampagneAndStrawberries · 12/02/2009 21:11

I'm bf a 10 month old and still wearing a nursing bra, although I got some nice Hot Milk ones this time round. I'll probably revert to non-nursing bras at some point after I've gone back to work as I'll not be feeding her as often, but I won't wear underwired (except occasionally for a short time) until I've stopped bf.

MamaHobgoblin · 12/02/2009 21:31

BF an 11 m old and still in the Royce bras I started with! I have two of the pink-with-silver, one black and one white. Boy, am I bored with them... Not sure I can justify a £35 underwired one at the moment, but it's something to treat myself with soon. Thanks for the link!

Mummyfor3 · 12/02/2009 21:34

10 1/2 monhts !!!

Have 3 BF bras on rotation: one on, one in the wash, one in the drawer.

I will not bother with other bras until I can buy some non-nursing ones but am not too bothered at the mo'...

ilovemydogandMrObama · 12/02/2009 21:36

11 months -- will I even fit into a non nursing bra

ellideb · 12/02/2009 21:41

Debenhams do some good nursing bras- 2 for £25 black or white and I'm using them 5mths into feeding. I have alrady bought three sizes on my way down since LO was born.

Timeisablindguide · 12/02/2009 21:43

If you're in the Manchester area, try www.bra-doctor.com

The woman is a genius and you end up with an amazing shape under clothes! Uplift without the wires and nursing bras that aren't just plain fabric. Not pricey either.

fadingfast · 12/02/2009 21:43

Yep 10 months here. Some are ok but an alarming number of them date from when I fed DS 4+ years ago and are REVOLTING. Grey, saggy and probably do nothing in the way of support but I don't feel I can justify any nice new ones now

I wouldn't bother at all but I do still sometimes leak and so use pads, and also find it much easier to feed than in a normal bra.

deaconblue · 12/02/2009 21:43

she only feeds on waking, at 10am ish and at bedtime so I don't need to get norks out in public anymore. Although am still losing weight so may as well wait a little longer before buying new bras. Am so saggy nowadays, need more support

I'm still wearing nursing bras and ds stopped BF 8 months ago...... I really ought to get some new bras.....

pgwithnumber3 · 12/02/2009 21:45

I barely wear Nursing bras and DD3 is only a week old. I cannot bear them, my tits end up down by my knees and I am yet to find a nursing bra that supports me enough. I just pull the cup down. Did the same with DD1 and DD2.

BouncingTurtle · 12/02/2009 21:51

I'm still wearing a nursing bra and ds is 13.5mo. He feeds day and night!
