Does anyone know why they say this? There are so many ingredients I couldn't list them all. The bottle is labeled 'wellness formula' and my friend bought it for me as I am run down at the moment. It lists garlic, vitamin C and propolis as the main ingredients - could it be the honey that is the problem?

LO is 12 months old and not allergic to anything - so I hope it is OK. I assume they are just being extra cautious....

The packet says (in tiny print) do not take if pregnant, nursing pr hypertensive.

Pretty much everything says 'consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding' as they haven't paid for the required testing to licence for bfing mums. BUT propolis is a but more controversial than that. It's not honey - it's a resin the bees use to make their hives and some health food folks do say you should be a bit cautious as there isn't enough information about it. However I agree that they are probably just being extra cautious and it's not like you are eating vast quantities of the stuff. Even if it's a main ingredient the quantities will be small. I know bing mums do take it without any issue.

If you're worried, perhaps you should just take a prenatal multi instead?

That's what I did when I was breastfeeding.
