my nipple goes white in the centre, after dd finishes a feed. no pain on feeding, but have had probs before. is it a sign that something is wrong?

I have read that when you have a strong let down, your LO will bend your nipple over to stop chocking a slow the flow. Does your DD chock a bit on your milk sometimes? Mine does and I always get that white bit. Nothing to worry about as my DD is nearly 4 months and feeding is fine.

Ha ha ha! Clearly I meant choking and choke! Had a bad week and am very tired!!

It could be due to circulatory issues, but is mostly down to positioning/latch.

Some information here

Marthasmama - I almost always drown her because my let down is a bit full on, so maybe it is that.. poor little lady!!

Toamountain - I'll have a proper read of that later, thank you looks very very useful
