Have been to cranial osteopath and she asked if babies poo smelled infected. I said i dont know what that would smell like, but ds is very liquidy and sort of buttery and sweet smelling. Normal??

The weirdest thing was when we had got home after Christmas Day and DP had made himself a sandwich with leftover turkey & ham (as in a ham, not packet ham) and salad cream (is it just my DP who has really weird ideas about what foods go together??) and anyway, he was eating this and I kept thinking DS had pooed but he hadn't at all! I swear this odd sandwich had that exact smell!

Like porridge, sweet - I always eat porridge with Dad's honey!

When I breastfed DS his poos didn't smell like anything much. Once we switched to formula they smelt like very sweet chocolate and unfortunately put me off Lindor chocolate for about a year as they smelt like that!

Recently on some occasions it smells salty - is this OK? (BF 7 week old)

I hate to say this to you but see that smelled like sugar puffs is often a sign of udiagnosed/treated diabetes .
