breastfed baby's poo has gone bright green - should I be worried?

My 9 month old dd is breastfed plus tiny bit of solids (not keen), recently her poo has turned bright green, is this something I should take her to the doc's about or is it likely to be just due to the stinking cold she has at the moment?

BF babies can have a variety of different coloured poo.

Is she well in herself ? if so I think its just the change in food types.

trust your instincts. Call your HV if you are really concerned.

Was going to say does she have a cold? My dd has green nappies when she has a cold (bfed).

If she's otherwise well I wouldn't worry as long as it goes back to normal in a couple of days.

green is fine, there seem to be differing opinions about it, heard possible diarrhoea, also heard having a lot of foremilk and not much hindmilk

i had this with dd when she was a baby and searched on here a lot and finally spoke to gp. Absolutely nothing to worry about and completely normal
