I've run out of formula and dh not back from work, I can't face putting 3dc's in the car to go and buy some...

Sure it'd be ok. There aren't enough mutrients in it to be main source of milk at the moment but can't see it doing any harm as a state of emergency. I'd do it.
Maybe tomorrow get some pre-made cartons for such events in future
