What frequency of poo is normal for breastfed baby (11 weeks)?

Hi

My ds poos after almost every feed (except during the night, one small blessing). Is this normal? And how can you tell when a breastfed baby has diahrea (pls excuse spelling!)

Thanks

It varies wildly.
At that age DD went though a phase of pooing whenever I fed her. Then she didnt go for a few days. Then loads and loads!

my 9 week old too, normal i think

Pretty much anything is normal!

My ds (14 weeks) poos roughly once a day (huge poo - occasional streaks at other times).

DD poo-ed about 100 times a day, but that turned out to be because she was milk intolerant.

Both DS and DD pooed a lot at that age.

Anything from after every feed to once a week or even less. Bf babies are less likely to get diarrhoea, but if they do it's usually dark green, v smelly, watery and frequent afaik. Haven't actually seen diarrhoea in exc bf baby though.

My DD was pooing every three days at that point; one huge poo that went up to her armpits.

DS does about three or four poos a day, every three days.

As CSWS says, there is a whole range
of what is normal.

meant to add about diahorrea signs, but chacha has already done that.
