Milk Supply for a toddler - anyone find yours diminishes when your period is due ?

I do and I've got into the nasty habit of topping him up with some goats milk at night . I'm not really very sure how I'm going to get out of the habit, as it's been going on for about 2 months now.

Basically, I was finding that my 22 month DS would empty me and then ask for additional milk, always on the week running up to my period. So I gave in and topped him up with formula for a while and recently we have switched to goats milk. However, I really hate doing it - he's always been bfed on demand, I'm sure it's making his eczema worse and it makes me feel like a failure.
To make matters worse I've just discovered I'm pregnant again so of course my milk is now slower at letting down but

I really really want to let him wean himself and I would love to get him back onto pure breastmilk but not sure how to go about doing so ! I'm not with him all the time because I work part time - so I can't feed him lots during the day to try and get my supply pumped up, so i'm stuck for ideas.

Has anyone got any suggestions or handy tips ?

Much appreciated, sorry for the long post.

Both mine used to feed far more at night during my period. I believe it's quite common. I never bothered giving anything else,
