How many ml/oz of breast milk amounts to one full feed for a four week old?

I have finally learnt how to express a decent amount of breast milk.

DD is fully breast fed. Tomorrow DH is going to look after DD2 for four hours while I take her sister out.

Only problem is that I have no idea how much milk she takes per feed when at the breast. So how much should I leave DH with to cover one big feed? Any ideas?

advice from kellymom here

the most by 10 week old DS has ever taken is 6 fl ozs, but he will generally only drink about 4 or 5. I like to leave a bit more than that though and get DH to feed it in two lots of say 3.5 ozs.

If you feed her just beofre you go out then she might not even want anything when you are gone.

enjoy your time out with your DD1
