Bf Bra clips - where to get them and can I have your old bras if your throwing them out?

So - am completely broke and I need bf bras and vests to deal with dd2 due in a fortnight.

So - I'm thinking I can convert regular bra's and vests to bf ones, I just need those clips. YOu know the ones I mean!! Have only found them on an American site so far. Could use poppers but the clips are ideal.

Anyone know of an online type place that I could try?

Or does anyone have tired old bras they are finished with - cos I'll hack them to shreds for the clips!!

I've got some old nursing bras, will quite happily cut off the clips and post them to you.

Why don't you go and get measured up and ask again? I'm still wearing mine and they are only a D cup, otherwise you'd have been welcome to them. Sorry!

treedelivery · 06/01/2009 19:08

Ta very much.

did get measured in 3 places - got 3 different results!! Flounced out of debs when lady suggested was 40G. Purchased in an independant when lady suggested was 36F, very confy it is too so thinking of converting that one.

Sure a few bra clips aren't going to weigh much, should be able to put in ordinary envelope with first class stamp? In which case just call it a pressie!

andaSOLOnewyear · 06/01/2009 20:24

I found Mothercare measured me well and their bra's have served me well too.

Hello

Don't buy anything!

I have a Bravado Original Basic Bra Double Plus if you would like it. It is suitable for sizes 32-46 DD-G. I bought it for early days with dd but ended up spending a lot of time in hospital and only wore it a couple of times. It is great for the early days when it feels like your boobs are changing size every hour.

I also have some bra convertor clips (2 black and 2 white- was intending on converting some of my bras but never got round to it so i will send those to you too.

Don't worry about postage. I will pop them in the post to you tomorrow.

I am just about to bin 3 old nursing bras that I no longer need as ds2 has just weaned. I will stick them in the post tomorrow, if you like?

Olihan · 06/01/2009 20:44

The clips, I meant, not the whole bra - they've been worn to the end and would be no use to anyone.

treedelivery · 06/01/2009 20:53

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!!!

You're all lovely and I'm feeling emotional!!

It was a Tesco nursing bra - they're fab and £5!

LCY -

Your bra has arrived and thank you thank you its fabbo! I really wanted one of those but couldn't have one and now I have one because of your kindness. The kit is ace and I'll be hacking my Matalan £5 bras to bit to create £30 marvels. Woo Hooo!!

Will get ma to check out Tesco Essie3 [ sadly 40 miles to nearest real one that sells such things].
