8 month old suddenly won't take the bottle any more

My ds was breasfed with the occasional bottle (probably about once a week) with expressed milk and very occasionally formula from 6 weeks. But about 2 months ago he refused point blank to take the bottle. Since then we've tried everything - expressed milk, formula milk, my dh giving him it and varuous other relatives, warming the bottle, different flow of teats, offering him it in different locations to where he's breastfed, in the sippy cup he has his meal time water in but nothing seems to work. I don't think it's the teat, bottle or the milk as he doesn't even let it get as far as his mouth. he just shakes his head and pushes the bottle away. Eventually he'll get upset. I thought maybe it might be teething but he will happily have a dummy. I'm due to go back to work in 3 months and I'd like to fully wean him now. Anyone got sny ideas that might help or do I literally offer him the bottle every day until he takes it again?

How old is your DS? 3 months is still quite a long way away to worry about him not taking a bottle when you back to work because they change so quickly!

Sorry - just saw he's 8 montsh from the title! Some babies just don't like bottles I would say you'll be fine with a cup when you go back to work.
