Baby happy to sleep longer at night but my boobs aren't keen.

This might be a v silly question, but does everyone have this problem when their baby starts to sleep longer? I had to wake the baby up after 6 and a half hours last night as my boobs were really full and uncomfortable and the bed was soaked.
Do boobs get used to longer breaks?

Bump

I'm in the same boat Jenbot so no advice but I'd be interested in what anyone else has to say.

yes they do get used..eventually. I wrecked a mattress with each ds despite sleeping on towels and undersheet thing.

I think that this is a common problem.

If your baby continues to sleep in longer stretches, then yes, your supply will adjust.

In the meantime, have you tried Tommee Tippee breast pads? Expensive, but much better than other brands.

Sorry, can't help with the discomfort, but hope it eases soon.

I suffer with this too! I have started wearing 2 breast pads on each boob to try and stop the leaking! I often find myself getting up at 2.30am in the morning to express just to relieve the pressure...

What a dog show! I do hope that it will adjust soon!

It will adjust, try sleeping on a towel and don't express too much otherwise your supply won't slow down at night.
