Latch suddenly hurting at 4 months, any ideas?

B/feeding stopped being sore after about a fortnight but the last couple of days it's become painful again.

It hurts on both sides and I can't see any signs of redness or inflamation.

Is it too early for teeth? Could it be thrush? Any ideas?

what kind of pain is it? when does it hurt?

Gorionine · 09/12/2008 10:23

I thought it could be teeth. It is a bit early but it could be. DD was hurting me when she had a blocked nose, she was trying to hold on with her gums wile opening her mouth to breath.

sorry, it is "while" not wile!

It's almost like an itchy pain, if that makes any sense, just at the bottom.

For me it got sore again when baby was very hungry, maybe a growth spurt if he/she is sucking harder than usual?

teething. possibly
