didn't have solids till 6months and we've been succesfully baby lead weaning since then. She rarely eats large amounts but eats tiny portions of all foods and we've been quite happy with this. She drinks water from a bottle/cup but never been very intersted in drinking cows milk, although i've never really pushed it either.

She'd got bfeeding down to morning and evening and a bit during the night (we co-sleep) but a recent teething bout / cold seems to have knocked her habits for six and she's hardly touched solids at all since before the weekend and is asking for breast milk really frequently.

What do you think? Should I be worried? Shall I just wait for the situation to rectify itself?

Just feed her when she asks for it and wait for it to pass. Prob just the teething causing it - dd always tried to feed lots when she was teething.

I wouldn't worry. Bfing is wonderfully nutricious and comforting. Just what she needs when under the weather. She will start to enjoy solids again, once she is back on her feet.

I should think teething as well. DS3 did this at about the same age - just let her get on with it

Thanks for the reassurance girls!
