i think my ds just does this for comfort and in the night too. can i stop it at 8mths , i know he'll go nuts, but i have had enough night feeding
at 8mths are they capable of going from 7 til 6am or so on breastmilk? and 3 good meals a day i add, plus snacks!

Why are we so anti dummies initially? I too swore I would never use them, but now find it a useful tool if ds is over tired / stimmed. He takes it for a minute to chill out then spits it out quite happily. How things change in times of motherhood and desperation!! As for those of you who have full nights sleeps, I'm insanely jealous and have forgotten what it must feel like! DS isn't too bad now though, just one wake up the last couple of nights.
