I am going back to work soon and would like to try my 4 month old dd to take expressed milk from a bottle. Any suggestions as to which bottle/teat would be best so as not to confuse her too much. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

whichever they'll take :D
i don't think it matters tbh, they all have their own preferences unfortunately, so i'd just go with one and see how you get on.

ds2 takes mam ones ok. but refused anything til he was about 7 or 8 months

I tried the avent one (1st stage) yesterday but dd wasn't interested. I guess I was hoping there was some miracle teat that would work straightaway.... Thanks for your thoughts.

Try a MAM teat in the avent bottle, because it is flattened it is more nipple like and they don't need to tongue curl to get a seal.

my friend used Closer to Nature by Tommee Tippee without any problems - will prob try these first when I go back to work in March...

Try NUK

dd spurned TT closer to nature in a way that should have alerted us to the fact that she may be the devil incarnate

but there seems to be something about NUK

but as others have said - what your DD will take to will be completely random

Thanks for that. I tried lots of bottles with DS who was BF for 2 years and he wouldn't take any of them. Unfortunately I threw them out after giving up not realising that I would need them once again!
