Ok, I know it's not that relevant to the UK MNers but the US MNers might like to know about it: See this link to the Washington Post about the FDA initally refusing to disclose to the public the fact that they had found melamine in some baby formula milks. Despite the ill-health problems melamine in baby milk has caused in China, the FDA are maintaining that it is not a problem at the levels they have found in the USA.
Well, I'm sorry, I wouldn't want to take the chance with my baby!
