Any bottles out there that are particularly better than others?

Hiya, I want to keep my options open, as I'd like to breastfeed, but I'm not sure i'll be able to now, as I might have to go back onto some tablets when the baby's born, and I wouldn't want to risk harming the baby. Is there any bottles out there that are better than any of the others, I used avent for DD. But have done some reading up on bottles containing harmful chemicals which has confused me a bit.

hiya Jael, firstly I would recommend looking into whether or not your medication is compatible with breastfeeding. GP's are often not the ones to ask and nearly ALL medication is ok with breastfeeding apart from some strong anti-cancer things and suchlike.
if you google the breastfeeding network you can download pdf's that have lists of medications and whether or not they are ok to bf with.

also, try visiting iwantmymum the breastfeeding1 section is free to post in and some of the members will be able to give you good advice on medication!

but to answer your question. medela and mam both do bisphenol A free bottles. and you can buy glass ones on some websites which may suit you?

I just had a search on that website thanks, was a bit confusing about how much medicine would enter the milk etc frightened me abit about feeding the baby while taking it. I'll be on cipramil/citalopram for panic attacks.
