Why do some people not want to try breastfeeding?

Sorry - not intending to be provocative, honestly. I am just genuinely interested. I am talking about people who don't want to give any feeds when they know it is the best thing for their baby. (Not talking about anyone who has tried with one child and then didn't try with the next, I mean first time mums). I am interested in reasons so that I can become more open minded about it all.
Thank you for any responses.

Sorry cat, I don't mean to tell you what to do - it's not that I don't think you're entitled to dicuss something that's been done before, just that it always causes massive rows so thought I'd warn you.

Cat99 · 21/11/2008 18:16

No that's fine, how do I delete?

You can click on the exclamation mark to ask them to delete it but they probably won't and will ask you to just let it die naturally.

I'd better stop posting on it in that case!
