1 year old, how to get her to use a beaker for milk

My DD is a year old on 27th and I have wanted to start giving her morning and evening bottle in a beaker. I tried this morning and she was completely hysterical and would not entertain the idea (bless her). Any tips on how to get her to use the beaker? She has water from any type of beaker during theday - of which I have tried and used all sorts.

Other question, when do I stop giving morning bottle?

you could try offering milk in a beaker at a different time of day and make it like a snack e.g. put her in the highchair, give her the cup with milk and maybe a biscuit or some other snack and let her feed them to herself. I did this around 9 months when ds still had 4 milk feeds and offered 1 of them in a lidded beaker. After he got used to it and started taking a few ounces I started switching the other feeds to the cup as well. DS (2.1years) still has milk in a cup in the morning either half an hour or so before breakfast or along with breakfast depending on when he starts asking for it
