Having filling and will be having a local anaesthetic next week - that's not going to cause DD a problem is it? Forgot to ask dentist when went for check up.

VHK - I am almost certain it will not, but call your dentists surgery on Monday and ask them, they will know and be able to reassure you/rebook the appointment as neccesary

I had a filling when DD was 6 weeks old and I was breastfeeding. It wasn't a problem. I nearly fell asleep while having the filling done because I was so sleepy.

Had to get a filling when I was Bf and was advised against getting mercury ones - as pregnant women are - and get the white ones instead. However, this is not part of the free NHS treament, which is available if you are pregnant. A bit - hmmpf - at having to fork out #60.
