gripe water for under one month

i have a 24 day old dd who suffers from wind big time in the evenings. bought some gripe water but i've been told not to use it below one month by someone, anyone have any advice?

You can use Infacol from birth - get some of that to tide you over?

My hv said i could use it for ds at 21 days old, it never did him any harm.
