Hva stopped expressing and feeding at 1yo. What happens to the milk that has been produced. After missing a morning and night expressing - boobs were sore the next morning - so i expressed 1oz in the really sore one. Boobs are ok now but they still look as if theres some milk in there - but not too swollen. will it just dipserse or should i express a little??

if you express you'll keep producing. best thing is to leave them and it'll settle down.

it is sore to start with but as pixie says if you keep expressing then the milk will still get produced. Try a hot shower to soothe the pain or cabbage leaves. sounds weird but it works. Just leave them alone and the supply will dry up, very quickly iirc.

painful for one week.. and leaking for few weeks...

then it will go..and you will back normal...slowly...

you can start diet after that...no more excuses now....
I started diet...2 months later...then stopped and then started again...
