Has anyone used a nursing necklace? Do they work?

I am being scratched and pinched all the time by my 8 month old, I was thinking about getting one to distract her.

Any old necklace will do. I found a cheap one with lots of different shaped beads in a market somewhere and DD loved it.
She was able to play with it, the different shapes and textures kept her entertained for hours.

Get something chunky- you don't want her to pull it off!
