Newby to MN! BF and separation anxiety

Hello, my DD is 9mths and for the 1st time my DP and I went out for the evening (1 oct) leaving her with my mum, she was absolutly fine, stuck to her routine and was sleeping as usual at 7.45, excellent no probs I thought, however the day after (yesterday) and today she has been expectionally clingy, to the point that for her 45 min morning sleep she wouldn't even come off the breast, she normally has a feed and then goes to sleep. The other problem, last nite when we put her to bed she screamed for an hour, she's never done this and has always gone to sleep without a problem.
Have a made her so scared by leaving her for a couple of hours one evening that she has developed some sort of "separation anxiety"??
Any ideas on how to overcome or should I just ride it out 4 a couple of days?

My ds seems perfectly happy when at nursery, no problems, but then when I get home from work he wants to feed feed feed, and doesn't want to be put down. It wears off after a couple of days, and then he goes back to nursery and it starts again!
I think they just love their mummies! But you deserve a night out so just go with it. Makes you feel awful doesn't it!
Alternatively she could be coming down with a cold or something. Ds always gets clingy when not feeling 100%.

Agree that she could be getting a cold or teething. Or it could be some separation anxiety, which I remember reading kicks in around 9 months, whether they are bfing or not. Hang on in there. She may need some extra feeds and reassurance, but she was with someone who loved her, and was happy whilst you were out. You haven't done anything wrong, and she won't be harmed for life, or even for months, by you going out for an evening with your dp.

Could be her teeth and she has a cold at the moment!
