How to feel 10 feet tall!

This happened on Wednesday, but if anyone has been reading I've had bit of a difficult week.

I went to get out of my chair and found I was stuck! My back/ pelvis had decided to give me lots of pain and no movement. Dad came over and had to break in as I was alone with Tink and TBD was at work. Called the hospital and they told me to come in, eventually managed to get myself moving enough to get there.

Anyway I was chatting with the MW about the pain and said that it was the first sign I was pregnant but it still took me 3 weeks to take the hint and explained that I didn't have a reliable cycle because I am still breastfeeding. She asked me how old Tink is and said "Oh you're an example to us all"! The doctor mentioned it when she came in so the MW was obviously impressed.

Thats nice to hear. How old is Tink? I'm still feeding my DD who is 2 on Wednesday but have been made to feel like a freak of nature! I've got her down to just before bed but am trying to stop as its soooooooo painful! Think I read somewhere that its quite common to hurt when pregnant again (18 weeks now) so hoping to stop by the time she is 2 but so nice to see I'm not alone! Did see on another thread Tink hadn't been well and hope that she improves very soon x

She's 26 months now. It was awful at the start but it's gradually gotten better as I've got further through (I'm 22 weeks today) so gradual that I didn't even notice when it went.

Been rather glad to be feeding her this weekend, she's in hospital having an asthma attack - looks like she's coming out of it now though - and refusing solids, she hasn't eaten since Tuesday really. I've been able to comfort her and give her some nutrition because I could breastfeed. It makes me rather smug at people like Dr Hilary, she's certainly gotten something out of it this week!

Well done you! And I hope Tink is better soon, and that your pain eases off.
