My breastfeeding journey continues....

Thanks to all who gave me words of advice and support - today baby has only had 4 cups of formula and has been on the breast all day! The milk is flowing well but he sometimes latches too shallow and it's a bit sore. Will seek advice on this. He still needs a bit of formula to fill him up but it's so much better. I'm just so tired and have backache from all the feeding today!

well done keep up the good work. If your back is hurting try changing feeding positions. Put the baby on a cushion to feed - your back should be straight. I amways had to have a cushion in the small of my back whn I fed. Or try lying down to feed - you can have a wee nap to catch up too! (sitting up straight and bringing baby to the breast can help the latch too - good luck )
