Smelly nappy but breast-fed baby.

This morning my LO had a smelly nappy, he is 9 weeks old and his nappy has never smelt bad before. He seems ok in all other ways so not particularly worried but anyone have any ideas what may have caused it?

(posted it in here as breast-fed babies don't usually have bad smelling nappies so thought one of the breast-feeding gurus might have a clue!)

Thanks.

may have a GI infection. keep feeding as normal. dd had the odd one or 2 as a baby but never had full blown 'runs'.

I agree with foxy.

Cheers guys, he seems his usual self otherwise and happily feeding away (most of which will come back up but that is normal for him!)
