i noticed oral thrush in ds mouth 2 wks ago, we have dacktarin to treat it with, and he's fine now. THis wk though i noticed a red scaly (and kind of shiny) patch around my aerola, its quite itchy too, went to gp and she prescribed me Daktacort, i was really surprised as i know its a steroid as i have been prescribed it for DD's eczema before.

When will it start to clear up?? I was told to use morning and night. but it doesnt seem to be working?? I go away sunday for 2 wks and was hoping this would be all sorted beforehand

Poor thing, that is uncomfortable and you can't scratch it can you?...at least not in public! It worked for my thrush almost straight away. I would imagine your ds needs treating again as well, you must be reinfecting one another.
