hello there my ten month old has terrible ezcema. i breast fed her her completely until she was about 6 months old and then started to give her some cows milk formula. her ezcema became really bad and she was eventually prescribed some hydrocortisone cream. since stopping breast feing a month ago its got alot worse again now that she is on formula alone. . no matter what i do now ....creams lotions etc i cant improve it. im very sensitive to cows milk although i do have a little in my diet , i eat mainly goats milk and goats cheese. i did this throughout my pregnancy too. could she be irritated and sensitive to cows milk like me??? im wondering if its too early for her to have goats milk powder instead of the cows milk based formula. any ideas. any advice would be appreciated.

goats milk formula is not legal in the UK.

my dd is allergic to cow's milk too but also egg. have you had her tested for these? Egg, according to the paediatrician she saw, is a more common allergen than dairy.

have you tried aveeno lotion to soothe her eczema? we would be at wit's end without it.

dd has inherited eczema from her dad so i believe her eczema extends beyond these two allergens.
