DD is b/f but has been in top-ups since week 2 as lost about 20 per cent of her birth weight. Have got the top-ups down to one bottle a day now, and on Monday she didn't have any top-ups at all. She fed all day yesterday and was really miserable so I gave her a top-up in the evening which seemed to satisfy her. Last night instead of the usual yellow poo it was more brown - sort of a midway between meconium and the usual yellow.
Does this mean anything does anyone know? I think I need to cut down the amount of top-up and wean her more slowly, was it suddenly stopping the top-up on Monday that caused the brown poo do you think, or is it unrelated?
