Painful feeding at 10 months!

I can't believe I am still feeding my 10 mo ds, after a lot of early pain and woe. So very proud! But lately (over the last couple of weeks) my nipples, especially on the right and less popular boob, have been really sore. He has two bottom teeth and while he is still covering them with his tongue I can really feel them. I think he is teething his top teeth at the minute too.
Can having teeth put the latch off a bit? Any tips on making it less painful? I don't want to give up yet, mainly because he only takes minimal amounts from a sippy cup

First of all, well done for bfing for so long!

My Ds did thas done this a few times when teeth are coming through. I put teething gel on his gums a few minutes before a feed and that helps. If it's really bad Calpol too. I also went back to using Lansinoh nipple cream for a while until it sorted itself out.
