Nipple confusion - what are the symptoms?

That is, how do you know if it's beginning to happen - is there any description of the behaviour on the breast? Basically, what's normal, what's not!

I think the answer is that I am officially a Bad Mother, and she would breastfeed my DS herself if she could...
