From what I read I was expecting it to be very heavy and very long, but so far it's WAY lighter than pre-pregnancy. Is that normal, is there no "normal", or should I take a pregnancy test just in case?

My first period came after 14 months (one month after I stopped BFing)
It was pretty much normal.
I have never heard that it should have been longer or heavier.
I wouldn't worry too much. I guess that your system will take a couple of months to get back to normal.

My first period came just after my dd's first birthday. The first 3 or 4 were lighter than usual, but now they're back to normal (still bf). I don't know if that's normal or not though!

Can't really remember, don't think it was really any different from before getting preg.

However mine came back when DS was only 4 months old, when he was still feeding loads and at night too, so am a bit at 15 months...

I went 15 months too, and it was fairly light, if I remember rightly. Things got back to normal later on, oh and I discovered PMT as I'd never had it before.

15 months was brill Rhinestone - and soooo cheap too!

fairly light and a bit irregular for the first few and then as regular as i had actually ever been.

i was actually very happy to have it back.
