Not sure if feeding related - breast pain?

For the last few days I've been getting weird pains in my left breast. They're sort of burny, shooting pains, quite deep though. There's no correlation with feeding, no blocked ducts/swelling etc.

DS is 11 months by the way and still feeds frequently between waking and bed if I'm home, and in the night too.

Any ideas? It's no surprise because I'm falling to bits at the moment, none of me works at the moment! I don't think it's to do with feeding but don't want to make a plank of myself at the GP's if it's something obvious

Could it be thrush? If you're feeling generally under the weather maybe the thrush has had a chance to establish?

I wondered about that but couldn't understand why it would be one-sided and why DS was fine but then I guess babies and boobs don't read textboks

For me it was ductal thrush...DS seemed to be fine. You can have it in just one breast, but if it is thrush PLEASE get it treated before it gets worse, I learned the hard way! See bfn website for more.
